10/27/2022 0 Comments Pod xt live patches free![]() Go and try some out and see for yourself. If you don't like how the Pod sounds, then you should really look into the new modelers. If you want delay, then you might also want the FX Junkie pack for the effects.īut really, these packs are not going to make the Pod sound much better than what you have right now. But even these pale in comparison to the basic next generation sims. It has a Gibson sim that is like a beefy fender and a Cornford that is more Matchless than the poor Matchless sims. Of the packs, based on your U2 description, I would say the Classic might be the most interesting. ![]() If you like the fizzy ENGLs and Bogners and Marshalls then the Metal Pack gives you more.īut if you want a dense high gain, then really, you're going to have to look into the next generation modelers (Axe, Eleven, possibly the HD500) I found the Metal Pack to be more of the same. If you don't like the sound of the unit now, you won't like it that much more with any of the packs (I have bought them all). ![]() I wouldn't spend any more money on the unit. Here is a song I did using the Eleven Rack (there's bass amp sims too!) And if that's the case, now is the time to sell that POD! If you don't like the sound of the POD XT, I don't think any other old generation modeler will sound much better. The Eleven Rack is costly, around twice the price of a POD but the new HD500 Bean is priced in the under $500 range I think. POD has also just introduced the HD500 which I hear is a substantial improvement over the X3/XT line. If you find that you just can't get the sounds you want from the POD, then you should maybe think about the next generation modelers. This device, even after 18 months, still sounds fantastic. When I got my POD XT I thought it was a great improvement on the old POD 2.0 but after the love affair wore off, I found that I could just not get the sounds I wanted out of it.įor the last 18 months I have been using a next generation modeler, an Avid/Digidesign Eleven Rack. ![]() I really hope WATThouse's idea works for you but if it doesn't here is my 2 cents. ![]()
